I find that I probably get a little more excited about events in Nature more than most people. I was sooo excited to see the super moon rise...it was like Christmas morning! Knowing that it will be rising, but you're not quite sure when it will start peeking up over the hillside was like laying in bed waiting for Santa to stop by. I think I even had butterflies in my stomach!
As I drove up the hill I was hoping that I hadn't missed it...phew...it wasn't up yet. So, I turned the car around to meet my friend Carrie and we turned around and there he was! We rushed like crazy people to the field, set up our cameras, and snapped away while giggling like little children over the sight before us. To say we were "over the moon" would be an understatement. :)
Did you all get to see it rise from where you are?? I sure hope so.... In case you didn't get to see it, here are a few pictures. The pictures don't really do justice to how large it was rising over the hill. If you make a circle with your arms above your head...it was even bigger than that...well unless you have REALLY long arms..lol Enjoy!! :))
